Private Classes

Working in a one on one format can be incredibly enriching for your practice, as it is not only your own private Pilates workout session but it is completely tailored movement session for your own body. We will focus your sessions on your individual goals and as your body and needs change we will continue to adapt and modify to ensure you are not only challenged but also meeting your changing needs.

Sessions begin with a postural assessment - taking into account your present alignment and how this then translates in movement. We will then work together on exercises and movements that require more support , in an effort to make you feel more balanced in your body not only in your Pilates practice but also in everyday life. We will continue to build on spinal mobilization, how we can use our ‘core’ to stabilize and optimize movements, and then make progressions as we build.

Private sessions are a great place if you are just initiating your pilates journey, getting back to movement after injury, have pelvic health issues, or even if you have particular athletic goal on the horizon.

You will come away with a greater sense of your body in space, a greater understanding of how your own body moves, areas that need a bit more connection , and overall sense of well being.

These sessions can be also be offered as semi privates- who does not like the company of a friend to give your motivation a boost!
